Itinerary

You will be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour begins can be booked at an additional cost.

A See Endless Adventure representative will meet you up at the airport and transport you to your Arusha accommodation, where you will spend the night, rest, and prepare for the adventures ahead. You'll have time to explore Arusha and the surrounding areas.

In the morning, our own safari guide will pick you up from your Arusha lodgings. You will travel to Tarangire National Park via gently rolling Maasai plains with scattered acacia trees. As you drive along, you may see many Maasais in colorful clothes roaming on the roadside, riding bicycles, herding cattle, and driving donkey carts. The park is well-known for its vast elephant herds, but it also has a diverse animal population. From the open roof of your safari jeep, explore the seasonal marshes, savanna, and life-giving Tarangire River in search of zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, elephants, and giraffes, to mention a few. It is possible to see lions chasing prey or leopards lounging in the branches above. After our extensive wildlife drive, you'll go to one of our mid-range partner lodges for dinner in a stylish restaurant and a spacious room to relax and dream about wild cats!

After an early breakfast, you'll head to the world's most famous national park. The drive itself, albeit long, is breathtaking. This will be an amazing experience for anyone who witnesses it for the first time. As you travel farther into the Serengeti, you'll see why the word translates to "endless plains" in local languages. The park covers 6,900 square miles (18,000 square kilometers), and for the majority of it, the plains stretch to the horizon, challenging your senses and concept of distance. It is the site of the yearly Great Migration, which includes 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and a variety of antelopes. In terms of big cats and huge predators, it's the best site to seek for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, with many television scenes, including the iconic River Crossings, being filmed here.

Today, you'll go on a morning wildlife drive to see a spectacular African dawn in the bush. You will go after a cup of coffee to explore the forest and its amazing creatures as they awaken among the dew-covered meadows. Later, you will eat a complete breakfast at the park while also enjoying lunch in the midst of the park. As you leave the park in the afternoon, you'll have another opportunity to explore the plains in search of African wildlife.

Rise and shine! You'll leave early today for the verdant highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This morning's destination is the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa's seven natural marvels and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Once you've reached the crater rim, descend the steep track into the 600-meter-deep caldera to observe a variety of animals, grasslands, birds, and a lake. The large collapsed volcano is home to around 25,000 creatures, including the Big Five, spotted hyenas, and some of the area's more than 500 bird species. After an extended game drive and a picnic lunch in the crater, you will return to your accommodation in Mto Wa Mbu for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will proceed to your final destination on this epic safari, Lake Manyara National Park. This is a small but diversified park located 120 kilometers west of Arusha. The park's namesake is a shallow salt lake. It spans a considerable portion of the park, flooding and drying as the seasons change, and is home to thousands of flamingos and over 500 other bird species. During your visit to the park, you will encounter monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, elephants, and, with luck, lions reclining in the trees. The park is notable for its various landscapes, which include broad grassy plains, primate-filled woodlands, and baobab-dotted cliffs. After lunch, you will return to Arusha, where you will arrive late afternoon and board your aircraft to Zanzibar.

Your guide will pick you up shortly after breakfast, approximately 7:30 a.m. You'll enjoy the trip to the island on a traditional dhow. You'll hear how this small island got its name and see the home of over 50 tortoises, some of which are over 100 years old. After learning about the island and its history, you'll have the opportunity to swim in the clean waters off the shore alongside tropical and colorful fish. You will next proceed with the Spice Tour, which will last three hours. You will have the opportunity to learn about tropical fruits, spices, and herbs, as well as some of the more unusual sorts of plants found in varied vegetation. During the visit, you may also view spices such as curry, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, pepper, tamarind, ginger, menthol, Zanzibar cloves, and a variety of other spices and herbs given by the Sultan of Oman across the Indian Ocean. Later, you will be transported to your lodging for dinner and an overnight stay.

Today, you'll spend the majority of your time relaxing and enjoying Zanzibar's beaches. These beaches provide a peaceful respite with their pure white sands, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and gently swaying palm trees. You may relax under the sun, swim in warm, inviting oceans, and watch breathtaking sunsets. The quiet atmosphere, along with the island's natural beauty, makes it a great place to relax and rejuvenate.
